Diversity fuels scientific creativity. As a group, we are committed to fully embracing equality and inclusion across gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, race, age, religion, physical and mental ability, neurodiversity, physical appearance, and experience and perspective. We approach our work curiously, openly, and fearlessly. We strive to improve and learn constantly and will celebrate every single win we achieve as individuals and as a team.
We love to welcome new people to the group! You’ve come to the right place if you’re keen to play with X-rays and excite some electrons.
We currently have a project available on gallium oxide thin films for electronic devices. You can find more information here.
We are always open to discussing joint funding applications. There is a range of funding opportunities available for PhD positions, and we are happy to discuss supporting you if you are considering applying to Oxford. Please contact Anna for any inquiries.
For more information on PhD funding, visit Oxford’s graduate funding website.
We host undergraduate Part II students, and you can select projects within the group as part of the annual centralised selection process.
We welcome interested undergraduate students to undertake projects within the group. Undergraduate student projects can be funded through external funding routes, including the Royal Society of Chemistry’s Undergraduate Research Bursary and the Analytical Chemistry Trust Fund’s Summer Studentships. Get in touch if you’d like to discuss any of these programs.
